One such role model is Cian Molloy, a talented young hurler from Gorey, County Wexford, whose skill, determination, and potential have already marked him out as one of Wexford’s brightest rising stars.

Cian plays his club hurling with Naomh Éanna and is part of the Wexford county team, where he continues to make an exciting impact. He was a key figure on the Wexford minor team that won the Leinster title in 2019, a memorable success that showcased his ability at a young age. In 2025, he made his senior championship debut, impressing fans and teammates alike with his composure, work rate, and natural hurling ability.

For many young Wexford supporters, Cian represents not just the future of hurling in the county, but also the rewards of dedication and hard work. His journey from school and underage hurling to the senior county stage is a story that resonates with children who are just beginning their own sporting journeys.
