Inspiring the Next Generation
Anais Curran
At Freshtoday, we know that sport has the power to inspire healthy habits, teamwork, and confidence in young people. That’s why we’re proud to highlight the work of Anais Curran, a rising camogie star from Wexford who is making an impact both on and off the pitch.
Anais has already earned a reputation for her composure and scoring ability. Playing with Oulart-The Ballagh and the Wexford senior team, she has delivered standout performances, including crucial, match-winning scores in big championship games. Her determination, skill, and calm presence under pressure make her one of the brightest young talents in the sport.
But Anais’s passion doesn’t stop at her own playing career. Off the field, she works as a Games Promotion Officer with Wexford GAA, where she dedicates her time to coaching and encouraging young players. From running school and club programmes to leading skills sessions, she is helping to nurture the next generation of camogie and hurling stars across the county.
Her work in schools is especially close to our heart at Freshtoday. Through her role, Anais introduces children to the joy of sport, showing them the value of staying active, working as a team, and striving to be their best. By combining her experience as an elite player with her approachable coaching style, she makes a lasting impression on students, helping them build both sporting skills and confidence.
At Freshtoday, we are delighted to support and work alongside inspiring role models like Anais. Her commitment to sport, health, and community perfectly reflects our own mission: to help children build healthier, happier futures.
